贞本义行：日本著名的动画制作人、漫画家。毕业后加入GAINAX发展。曾经担任《不思议之海的娜丁亚》、《王立宇宙军～奥米内菲斯之翼～》 等名作的人物设计和作画监督。之后担任《新世纪福音战士EVA》的人物设计极受好评，更因《EVA》的超人气好评而倍受瞩目。现专注于《新世纪福音战士EVA》的漫画连载。2006年07月15日，担任《穿越时空的少女》 剧场版动画的人物设定，将日本著名的小说家筒井康隆的同名小说——《穿越时空的少女》搬上银幕，并受到一致好评。2009年8月1日，担任了《夏日大作战》剧场版动画的人物设定。
